Pregnancy and women's health
As osteopaths, we have the privilege of supporting women through this stage of their lives.
With gentle, hands-on myofascial techniques our practitioners help ease the common discomforts of pregnancy, support alignment and movement, and help you feel confident and more comfortable through each stage.

What We Look For
We take it stage by stage, and we work with what is comfortable for you on the day.
We look at the hips, pelvis and low back together, and at what your week is asking of them.

How We Help
- Comfort
- Easing the aches that come with each stage.
- Movement
- Keeping you moving as things change.
- Support
- Gentle hands-on work, adjusted to where you are.
- Confidence
- Knowing what is normal and what to keep an eye on.
Our Approach
1
Assessment
Your history, your stage and what has been bothering you most.
2
Soft tissue manipulations
Gentle myofascial work through the hips, pelvis and low back.
3
Corrective exercises
A short set of movements you can do at home, adjusted as you go.
How the plan usually runs
The first three to four visits are about reducing the pain and getting you moving again. From there we slowly move into strengthening, with the plan worked backwards from what you want to get back to.
